Large fortified city of the Old World. Had been merely a mountain fortress, about 2600 feet above sea level, surrounded by deep valleys on all sides except the north. On the east was the Valley of the Kidron, on the west and south was the Valley of Hinnom. The plateau on which the city stands was originally divided by another valley, called the Tyropaean Valley.
This is a major city of trade and religious worship, a huge temple occupying the greater portion of the east side of the city, dedicated to the worship of all of the gods of good and neutrality. The city is ruled by King Zedekiah, and the city has been divided into sections ruled by various Governors who report to the king.
